After we return from Easter Break my Jr. High technology class will begin our most challenging lesson yet: Tilt-Shift Photography. Before CGI dominated Hollywood special effects, movie-magicians would create miniaturized versions of a scene and film the action sequences to appear normal sized. Tilt-shift photography is the exact opposite of that methodology, instead of making something look huge a real photo is manipulated to appear miniaturized.

Students, please take an original photo of a landscape at an approximately 20 to 45 degree angle. I recommend using nothing less than a 3 mega pixel camera, ideally it should not be captured on a smartphone. You may post several different choices to your blog and I will assess your choices prior to the class.
