Writing
Engaging students in persuasive and debate writing, research-based writing, and information synthesis, while promoting self and peer editing/monitoring skills to enhance writing proficiency and clarity of expression.
Dissecting research and interpreting it into unique ideas, backing up claims with non-fiction text.
Encouraging students to analyze research findings critically, synthesize information, and formulate original ideas supported by evidence from non-fiction texts, fostering intellectual independence and scholarly inquiry.
Singapore Mathematics Framework
Implementing the Singapore Mathematics Framework to promote monitoring of one’s own thinking, self-regulation of learning, and mastery of numerical, algebraic, geometrical, statistical, probabilistic, and analytical concepts, ensuring a strong foundation in mathematical literacy and problem-solving skills.
