Extracurricular Activities

After School Programs

After school programs are offered by the OLF Parent-Teacher Club as enrichment opportunities outside of school hours. All programs are parent run and organized, and fees are paid directly to the program vendors. Our Lady of Fatima Parish School provides classroom space for the convenience of parents wishing to have their children participate in these programs and does not receive any compensation from after school program vendors.

After school programs vary depending upon parent and student interest. All programs require a current school parent who wishes to bring the program to our school and serve as the coordinator of the program. All vendors must meet archdiocesan requirements for liability insurance, background checks, and child sexual abuse prevention training. Examples of past after school program offerings include carpentry, computer coding, chess, debate, sewing, and Zumba. After school programs are open only to current OLF students, and parents of enrolled students are required to take turns supervising class sessions.     Our Lady of Fatima offers financial assistance for all school and parish related activities.

CYO Sports

Our Lady of Fatima Parish children participate in Catholic Youth Organization (CYO) sports leagues throughout the school year. CYO sports provide a competitive league where students can improve their athletic, team-building, and leadership skills. See the CYO Sports page for more information.

Art Club

Art Club is open to students grades 5th through 8th who are excited about sharing their artistic gifts and want to grow in their creative path.

Robotics Club

Robotics is offered to students serious about robotics in 4th through 8th grade. The OLF Fatima Falcons Robotics Team competes with other parochial schools at league events around the archdiocese, as well as regional VEX IQ Robotics Tournaments administered by the Robotics Education & Competition Foundation (RECF).

Snow Sports

School parents organize a snow sports program every winter at Alpental (part of the Summit at Snoqualmie Ski Resort) that is open to all students. Buses leave the school on selected Friday afternoons in January/February.

Speech Team

Speech team is offered to students in 7th and 8th grade. The Our Lady of Fatima award-winning speech team competes with other parochial schools at tournaments organized at local Catholic high schools. Many alumni credit participation on the speech team for their ease with public speaking.

Theater

Students in grades 5th-8th grade may participate as crew or on stage in the annual spring musical directed by Our Lady of Fatima’s Music Specialist Eric Bradler. Performances are held on the stage at the school and are open to the public.
