Our Lady of Fatima Parish School is the Catholic elementary school in Seattle’s Magnolia neighborhood. Admissions priority is given to active OLF parishioners, but families of all faiths are welcome to apply.

General Information

Welcome to Our Lady of Fatima Parish School, Home of the Falcons!

A few quick facts about our school:

  • With typically around 285 students, our school is comprised of one class per grade, Preschool through 8th.
  • We offer both half-day and full-day Preschool (3-year-olds) and Pre-Kindergarten (4-year-olds) with several schedule options available.
  • In Preschool through 5th Grade, each classroom is led by a homeroom teacher and a full-time instructional aide. 6th-8th Grade students are taught by our middle school team.
  • Students attend specialist classes in art, computer science, library, music, physical education, and Spanish, and we offer additional support in reading and math.
  • We have a full-time counselor on staff.
  • Classroom hours are 8:30am-3:15pm on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, and 8:30am-2:15pm on Wednesday.
  • We offer Extended Care until 6:00pm to our students in Preschool-3rd Grade on days when school is in session full day (space permitting and for an additional fee). Extended Care is not available during school breaks, faculty in-service days, or on early dismissal days. EXTENDED CARE IS FULL FOR THE 2024-2025 SCHOOL YEAR.

2024-2025 Admissions (UPDATED AUGUST 2024)

  • Our Preschool, Pre-Kindergarten, and Kindergarten classes are full for the current school year.
  • Available spaces in Grades 1-8 are extremely limited.
  • Interested families may still complete the application to have your child considered for admission. If the grade for which you are applying is full, your child will be placed in our waitpool for the duration of the 2024-2025 school year, and we will contact you should a space open up. The application fee is not required to be added to the waitpool.
  • Those who cannot be accommodated must subsequently re-apply for admission for the following year as applications do not roll over from one year to the next.

ATTEND OUR 2025-2026 Admissions Information Night

Our 2025-2026 Admissions Information Night (which will include school tours) will be held in November 2024 for prospective families interested in Preschool through 8th Grade, and applications for all grades will be due by no later than December 15, 2024 (transcripts and teacher recommendations for transfer applicants (Grade 1-8) may be submitted through the end of January 2025 after the fall school term ends).

SCHEDULE A General Information Tour (OPENS MID-OCTOBER)

School tour scheduling for the 2025-2026 admissions season will open in mid-October 2024.

We offer General Information Tours on most Wednesday afternoons, 3:00-4:00pm, during admissions season (mid-October through mid-March). There is a maximum of three families per tour (one family per reservation). Tours must be scheduled at least one day in advance. The schedule and registration link will be posted on this page in mid-October 2024.

Our tuition rates and annual fees for the 2024-2025 school year can be found under Tuition, Fees & Assistance for reference. Tuition rates and annual fee amounts for the 2025-2026 school year will be published in March 2025.

Financial aid is available through the Fulcrum Tuition Assistance Grant Program to all families currently enrolled or applying for the next school year in any Catholic school in the Archdiocese of Seattle. In addition, Our Lady of Fatima Parish School offers additional support for active parish families through a school direct aid program. Students in grades K-8 are eligible for either of these options. For both programs, a family must apply each year by completing the FACTS Grant & Aid Financial Needs Assessment. All awards are made based on financial need.

The 2025-2026 financial aid application will open October 1, 2024, and financial aid applications for prospective families will be due by December 31, 2024.

Click the button below to be directed to our Admissions and Enrollment Portal, Finalsite, to create or log in to your account and submit an application for the 2024-2025 school year. The 2025-2026 application will open in mid-October 2024.

step two: COMPLETE THE APPLICATION CHECKLIST

After you have submitted the online application, please refer to your child’s Application Checklist within your Finalsite account for additional items to be submitted:

  • Application Fee: $100 per student, refundable only if an applicant is waitpooled or otherwise not accepted by Our Lady of Fatima Parish School.
  • Birth Certificate: Required for all applicants.
  • Baptismal Certificate: Required if Roman Catholic, both for applicants baptized at Our Lady of Fatima Parish and elsewhere, and requested if non-Catholic, if applicable.
  • Records Release Form: Required for transfer applicants (Grades 1-8) only.
  • Transcript Request Form: Required for transfer applicants (Grades 1-8) only.
  • Kindergarten/Teacher Recommendation Form: Required for kindergarten applicants/transfer applicants (Grades 1-8), respectively.

Applications are considered complete when ALL applicable checklist items have been submitted.

Please Note: We do not accept applications for future school years in advance, and we do not maintain a waitlist for future applications. Priority is given to ACTIVE MEMBERS of Our Lady of Fatima Parish (Seattle, WA) and available spots are filled based on our order of admission, not by order of application. 3 – Important Dates & Deadlines / ADMISSIONS DECISIONS TIMING

Important dates & deadlines

Fall

  • November: Admissions Information Night (date TBD)
  • December 15: Completed applications and checklist items for Preschool, Pre-Kindergarten, and Kindergarten due
  • December 15: Transfer students (Grades 1-8) applications due; transcripts and teacher recommendation forms may be submitted by the end of January if the applicant’s current school term is not yet completed

WINTER

  • December 31: Financial aid applications due
  • Mid-January: Kindergarten readiness screenings by appointment
  • January-March: Family interviews including the prospective student (required)
  • End of January: Admissions determinations for Preschool, Pre-Kindergarten, and Kindergarten

SPRING & SUMMER

  • End of March: Transfer admissions determinations finalized. The process starts in February and is finalized at the end of March after re-registration of current students
  • August: New parent orientation of accepted families

The curriculum continues to prioritize moral and ethical development, with an emphasis on critical thinking, leadership skills, and service to others rooted in Catholic teachings.
