Why did you become an educator?
When my son started kindergarten, they were looking for a teaching assistant at my son’s school. I had really never thought about being a teacher. I worked in a Montessori Classroom with a wonderful mentor. I was so drawn to the Montessori Method of teaching and felt it was unsurpassed as a way to get through to children. When I saw a child’s eyes light up upon the completion of a lesson or a work in the classroom I knew this is where I was meant to be.

The Littlest Angel by Charles Tazewell

Why I enjoy teaching at OLF?
I absolutely love watching the children draw closer to God in their response after a presentation, prayer, candle snuffing, or singing the Liturgical Colors song.

Outside of school, I enjoy…
Spending time with my family, cooking, baking, and sewing!
